A new project that wants to celebrate the figure of Joaquín Navarro-Valls, well-known spokesperson of St. John Paul II who, after having participated in the preliminary study phase of the Foundation of the Campus Bio-Medico of Rome, was the first President of the Committee of Guarantors (from June 2015 to the day of his death, 5 July 2017), as well as the first President of the TIM Foundation, starting from 2009.

The Research Project intends to study and develop a new health care model 4.0 which, through information and communication technologies (ICT, Information and Communication Technologies), can improve the prevention and treatment process for patients affected with complex chronic conditions. (CCC, complex chronic conditions), with particular reference to people affected by the Sars-Cov-2 virus and related respiratory diseases.

“ TIM Foundation honors the memory of its first President, Joaquín Navarro-Valls, by funding a scholarship named after him in collaboration with the Campus Bio-Medico of Rome. The scholarship is dedicated to interdisciplinary studies in the health and environmental fields, also in light of the problems posed by the recent, terrible pandemic. An initiative, I think, very suitable to remember a great figure like that of Navarro-Valls.
