President Paolo Arullani awarded Premio Foedus for Solidarity

Building the future through culture, business and solidarity.

During the 17th Edition of the Grand Gala of solidarity ‘A gift for a smile’ organized by Fondazione Foedus, President Paolo Arullani received an award in the Solidarity Category.

The event, hosted this year by ‘The Church Palace’ in Rome, was born from the idea of Mario Baccini, President of Fondazione Foedus, to offer a tangible contribution towards social inclusion through the best examples typical of Italian national character.

“I see a strong synergy between the Fondazione Foedus and the Campus Bio-Medico in the three themes connected to each other and the subject of the relative awards: Culture – Business – Solidarity which I certainly think are inseparable from each other” declares Paolo Arullani; “Campus Bio-Medico stemmed from a crucial idea: the centrality of human beings and, especially in a Hospital, of patients, but for this purpose it was necessary to train all personnel, health and non-healthcare, assistance, research and also administrative, starting from the graduated staff and in particular the students, to be sensitive and able to understand the needs of others! We therefore had to be a University and, at the same time, a business. “

“My most sincere thanks to Fondazione Foedus, in particular to On. Mario Baccini, for this prestigious Award granted for creating Campus Bio-Medico University and the Biomedical University Foundation, recently started to build an endowment fund with solidarity goals related to genetic diseases, a new truly human-centric Emergency Department and scientific research.”

“I greatly appreciate the purpose and mission of Fondazione Foedus, which includes the principle of “building the future through the richness of our culture, and of underlining the international value of our country“. Even before the State and the Government, society is capable of coping with the urgent issues affecting our communities.”

“I am sure that our two Foundations will be able to collaborate for the future of our communities.”
